Steps up from the ICD-UX512 with a ‘two position’

stereo microphone that can be adjusted instantly to

suit the subject being recorded. For dictation or

interviews, both unidirectional mics can be angled

to face the speaker directly. For meetings or music

recordings, mic positions can be swivelled 120° apart

to cover everyone in the room. Acoustic isolation also

cuts the transmission of mechanical and handling

noise to both mics from the main recorder.
